Spring is near. Spring is here! Our days are heating up and it’s a great time to start up your garden. Whether it be a vegetable garden or a flower garden, everyone has a greeen thumb. Put it to use.
If you choose to plant a vegetable garden, it would be beneficial in many ways. A person can store their harvest, which is like getting a discount from the grocery store. One could sell their vegetables to make a generous profit too.
Experts say that March 15 was the time to start planting. This is the time to start breaking your garden and it would be ideal to get planted by mid-April. Ag teacher Mr. Morphis says that he perfers to plant some of his favorites like potatoes, carrot, tomatoes and corn. A person should plant anything that srikes at their interest.
Many people plant beneficial plants. Vegetable plants like corn, tomatoes, beans and peas. These plants keep sprouting as long as you keep harvesting.
This is also a good time to start your flower garden. Certain bulbs like petunias are already starting to spring up.
When you begin planting, there is no need to stop unless you are dead in the middle of winter. Get your green thumbs pointed towards some moist dirt and go plant a seed.
