| Hugo baseball players continue to give it their all |

By Ryan Debo Hugo High School Sports Reporter After a long and hard season, our baseball games are winding down as we try to perfect our game as much as we can. Districts are only a couple of weeks away, our most likely opponent will be the Valliant Bulldogs or the Antlers Bearcats. Out of two games with the Bulldogs we have split, but we have never played the Bearcats. This season might not have been the best, according to our record, but we are still playing hard and we know we can have a good post season. Out of all the games we played this season the only team we have lost to, considering a few games, was ourselves. Errors have killed us game after game and are without a doubt our biggest problem, but lately the errors have been reduced. This is exactly what you want to see at the end of a season. Our baseball team has high hopes for the remaining season and post play. Come out and support us! |
