Annual turkey hunt a success

Hugo played host to Oklahoma Lt. Governor Todd Lamb and sportsmen from all over the country this week, some of whom had their first turkey kill during the Lt. Governor’s Annual Turkey Hunt. HUGO LAKE — Representatives from throughout Southeast Oklahoma greeted Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb Thursday evening, as he visited the area to greet a number of economic development specialists who were participants in the Lt. Governor’s Annual Invitational Turkey Hunt.
Lamb enjoyed telling his own hunting tale, about bagging his very first turkey this year after a number of gallant efforts in past trips.
