HUGO — City of Hugo police officers and officers with the Choctaw County Sheriff’s department, were joined Monday by officers of other jurisdictions in the arrest of nine area residents on drug-related charges.
The arrests were all related to telephone conversations that took place in the months of May and June of 2008 between the individuals charged and Jeffrey Pierce, who is presently in federal custody awaiting sentencing on related illegal drug activities.
Charged this week with the felony crime of endeavoring to obtain a controlled dangerous substance were:
• Cheyenne Lee Rosson
• Melissa Ann Daniels
• Chad Allen Moore
• Brian Stephen Morris
• Sherrie Lynn Choate
• Billy Joe Garrett
• Melanie Susan Baggs
• Kenneth Bruce Wilhelm
• Regina Ann Bowden
Choctaw County court records indicate warrants for three other individuals have not yet been served.
