Four more arrested on drug charges
HUGO — Four additional names have been added to a list of area residents, who have been charged with two felony drug crimes. Arrested and jailed last week in the Choctaw County jail for conspiracy to deliver/manufacture/possess CDS, was Billie Jean Vanderveen, 41. Vanderveen is accused of contacting Jeffrey Pierce in May and June of 2008 by cell phone, at which time she attempted to purchase controlled drugs on numerous occasions.
Also charged with two felony counts in the drug sweep was Shelby Vesely. She was apprehended in Ada, and reportedly jailed there, pending bond or release to Choctaw County officials. Also named in the same two felony charges were Amelia and Thomas Wilhelm. Thomas Wilhelm is presently incarcerated in the Oklahoma prison system at Hodgen, Okla., and is a multiple felony offender. According to a spokesperson for the Choctaw County Sheriff’s office, Amelia Wilhelm was arrested a few weeks ago.
Rutledge arrested on multiple felony charges

Tanner Levi Rutledge was booked into the Choctaw County Jail on multiple felony charges over the weekend, after he was accused of assaulting a Hugo woman. He was also booked for using a deadly means of force to attempt to kill and burglary. A former convict, Rutledge was released from the Oklahoma prison system on Feb. 15, 2008. Formall charges are being considered by the District Attorney’s office.
