Absent significant rainfall throughout its upstream watershed area, Hugo Lake briefly tied its all-time low water mark early Thursday morning. According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers website, the water level in Hugo lake touched 398.46 at midnight and 3 a.m. Thursday morning, but bounced up one-one hundredth of an inch an hour later. Corps officials said level indicators had the lake at 398.48 at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
