Negotiations to begin regarding new high school... HUGO ––The Hugo board of education voted to re-employ current superintendent Karen Lyles Monday evening, following an executive session of approximately two hours. Also approved by the board was the re-opening of the intermediate school, to begin with the 2013-2014 school year. Additional costs to the school district will be incurred to get the building back to working order. According to Lyles, fourth and fifth grades will be moved from their current location at the elementary school due to overcrowding.
