HUGO –– The Red Nose Cafe event was billed as: “fun, food and festivities” and it certainly hit the mark Friday evening in Hugo, “Circus City.” Playing to a full house, the third annual Red Nose Café fund-raiser, benefiting the Hugo Circus Museum and Park, was held at the Kiamichi Technology Center featuring international cuisine, live circus acts, door prizes, and a “Cutest Clown” contest for the youngsters.

Tatum Fancher, 5, of Hugo, won “Best Clown” and a brand new bicycle in the age 6 and under category. Koda Hudson, 9, also of Hugo, won the “Best Clown” and a brand new bicycle in the 7 through 12 age category. Koda and Tatum did some real clowning around with professional circus clown, Ryan Combs. The bicycles were donated by the Donaldson Ace Hardware store.
