HUGO — Homecoming guests and residents of all ages can take a break from saddles and spurs this weekend to check out some big red engines.
Visitors can take a look at various fire trucks on display from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6 at the Tri County Autoplex followed by the 11th Annual Hugo Firetruck Parade at 2 p.m.
Trucks will be awarded certificates in the categories of oldest unit, oldest unit still in service, newest unit, most units, unit traveling the farthest, best odd and unusual unit. Visitors can enjoy free hot dogs, drinks and music provided by Tri County Autoplex who is clearing the lot for the event. Children will be welcome to ride on the fire engines during the parade.
