The Board of Directors of Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma (LASO) has elected Bruce Frazier, advocate for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Victim Assistance Program, to serve as LASO’s president for 2013. Frazier served last year as vice-president and has been a board member since 2009.

“Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma helps provide much needed legal services to those who would otherwise have no one to turn to,” said Frazier, who lives in Hugo. “In today’s economy we have many members of the Choctaw Nation as well as others who would be lost in a justice system through which they could not find a path. I feel it is an honor and a privilege to serve Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma as a member of the Board of Directors and strive to lead the board through these days when funding challenges are surpassed by the greater need of our clients.”
