| Swink man arrested for trafficking large amount of marijuana |

CHOCTAW COUNTY ––At approximately 7 a. m. Monday morning, District 17 Drug Task Force Agents, assisted by the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office, served a search warrant at a Swink residence, belonging to Art Sarver, who was believed to be trafficking in large amounts of marijuana. According to official reports, when law enforcement agents arrived at the home northeast of Swink, the smell of marijuana was so strong, it could be detected from the front yard. Oune-pound bundles of marijuana were hidden inside ice chests and coolers inside the home, reports stated, and agents found large scales in the location the marijuana was being stored. Agents seized more than 11 pounds of high-grade marijuana, several vehicles, motorcycles, 11 firearms and $5,782 in cash. Agents believe Sarver was a marijuana supplier for the Choctaw and McCurtain County area.
