| Hugo city council approves technician for airport weather observing system |

HUGO ––Members of the Hugo city council approved several items regarding the Hugo Airport during its regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday evening, including two service agreements for the newly installed AWOS system. After a recommendation by airport supervisor De-Wayne Pence and a motion by councilman Bart Tedder, it was approved to allow Charles Cousins with Cousins Electronics to be the technician, due to cost ($200/month) and location, of the AWOS system. Also approved regarding the airport was renewal of the subscription for the National Weather Service annual fee of $900.
