|Boswell board of education has busy meeting, preparing for upcoming school season|

BOSWELL — A full agenda was tackled by the Boswell Board of Education during July’s regular meeting held on Thursday night. There were nearly 25 in attendance and the meeting moved to the library. A two hour plus, executive session was held within the four and a half hour meeting.
The following staff positions were confirmed for the 2013-2014 school year: Temporary one-year contracts: Teacher/ Coach -Roland Branton; History, Art, Science -Crystal Howard.
Assignment of personnel: Kindergarten-Stephanie Eastwood. Science, English-Tiffany Britt. Elementary Science-Leann Colstin. High School Computer-Jeanne Moore. Elementary Computer Lab-Toni Brown.
The 12-month employees salary and contracts for the 2013-2014 fiscal year were approved for 13 personnel. They included: Gerald Stegall, Scot McCorstin, Keith Edge, Matilda McIntyre, Kyle Braudrick, Linda Kay Green, Paul Green, Teresa Jacob, Coltlynn Springfield, Sheri Cartwright, Guy Snow, Denetta Love, Steven Roberson.
Extra Duty contract assignments for the 2013-2014 fiscal year are: Girl’s fall andspring softballJr. High, girl’sfalland spring softball High school-Guy Snow. Elementary, Jr. High and High school girl’s basketball-Christie Braudrick. Ballfield maintenance, boy’s Jr. High and High school fall and spring baseball-Alan Cartwright. Cheerleading sponsor-Stephanie Eastwood. Yearbook-Paula Snow. Jr./Sr. High Academic Coach, after school tutor-Judy Grace. Special Education director, Special Education teacher, both at 5% above base-Beth McAdams. Vehicle allowance-Kyle Braudrick. School wide plan and implementation-Linda Kay Green. After School Tutor-Rebecca Pierce. Miss Boswell High pageant-Rikki Manous. After school tutors-Kay Virden, Tracy Stonebarger.
The resignation of Parker Harless was accepted.
