FORT TOWSON — The lights are now on at Raymond Gary State Park in Fort Towson and will remain until after New Years Day.
To celebrate the season, the 16th annual Christmas Boat Parade is kicking off Friday evening, Dec. 4 and continues the evening of Saturday, Dec. 5 on the lake. Admission is free and children can receive a free digital picture with Santa and a candy cane.
The parade begins at 6 p.m., at which time visitors should be parked and remain until the boats have made two passes around the lake. Anyone is welcome to enter a boat into the parade, although most participants have homes on the lake.
For more information or to enter a boat,  call Jane Milner at 580.873.2160 or e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Donations are accepted for more lights.
