Ask someone who has never set foot inside a museum, and they may define it as “a place where old stuff is kept.” That, my friends, is an understatement.

A museum is an institution in the service of society, which acquires and exhibits the tangible and intangible heritage of humanity. It exists for the purpose of inspiration, education, and enjoyment. It is synonymous with: Antiquity, Artifact and Heirloom; it comes from a word of Latin origin dated back to 1605.
