HUGO ––City of Hugo authorities met with contractors and developers at the groundbreaking site for Hugo’s new Windhaven Edition Wednesday afternoon.

In approximately six-months time, the edition will house 25 new brick houses that will be part of a low-income housing, tax credit project. To qualify to rent a single-person home, through Sunview Development, one must make $18,000 or less, with higher income thresholds for families.

“There’s a huge need for good housing in rural Oklahoma,” Lance Windel with Sunview Development said. “We hope to bring something that the residents of Hugo need.”
