Rattan man charged for numerous crimes in federal court

Jason Brett Merida, 41, of Rattan, has been charged by the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, for conspiracy to commit theft or bribery of programs receiving federal funds, for theft by an employee or officer of a tribal government receiving federal funds, and for conspiracy to commit money laundering.
The charges came as a result of an investigation by the FBI and the IRS criminal Investigative Services.
