Donna Self

Celebration of life for Donna Self will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Hugo, Okla., with Shawn Robertson officiating. A private family burial will be held after the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Donna went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 in Hugo, at the age of 85.

Donna Self was born April 30, 1935, to Burt and Sue Deltorto in Antlers, Okla. She had lived in this area for the past 60 years and was loved by all who knew her. Donna married Dean Self in Hugo in 1957. She worked as a waitress for the Village Inn, Feco’s and later in life she also worked at the Casino. Donna enjoyed watching sports –– like basketball, golf, football. she also enjoyed fishing very much and was known to throw many a line into the water, but she especially enjoyed getting together with her family. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Sue Deltorto; her husband Dean Self. Donna is survived by her son, Kelly Self and wife, Debbie of Hugo; daughter, Macy Self of Hugo; sister, Mary Sue Andrews of Woodburn, Ore.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec.10, 2020 at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
