Funeral services for Anthony “Tony” Beene, of Valliant, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 at The Church in Millerton, Okla. Anthony passed away Nov. 2, 2020, at the age of 49.

Anthony Jerome “Tony” Beene was born June 9, 1971 in Hugo, Okla., the son of Carl “Butch” Beene and Sharolyn “Babe” t Joplin. He was preceded in ‘4_11! ), death by his mother.

Tony grew up in the Valliant area and was a 1989 graduate of Valliant High School. After graduation Tony joined the United States Air Force and served his country during Desert Storm. He received his Associates Degree in Business and had been employed with Weyerhaeuser / International Paper for 23 years as a machine tender on No. 2 machine. Tony spent his time hunting, shooting his guns and bow, learning how to fly a plane, and riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed cooking, crawfish boils and watching the cooking channel. Tony loved being a life coach and was a peacemaker. He was a faithful son, loving father, grandfather, and a wonderful friend. Tony was a member of Faithway Baptist Church in Rufe, Okla.

Tony is survived by his companion, Julie Moyer; son, Dillon Beene and wife, Hannah of Hugo; daughters: Sydney Beene of Sawyer, Okla., Chloe Moyer of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Cassidy Moyer of Talequah, Okla.; father, Carl “Butch” Beene and wife, Jan of Spencerville, Okla.; brother, Eric Beene and wife, Maureen Collins of Grapevine, Texas; nephew, Nicholas Beene; grandchild, Skylar Beene; bonus family, Mike Manning and wife, Tamara of Fort Towson, Okla.; Rob Frederick and wife, Rannde of Nida, Okla.; Brandy Manning of Caddo, Okla., and Alicia Manning of Valliant, along with many loved family and friends.

Interment with Military Honors followed the service at Sobol Cemetery with Bro. Brent Coffey officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
