He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Elvin Covington and Barney Covington and sister, Juanita Ables.

Patsy Joyce Tyree, of Hugo, Okla., passed away June 17, 2023, at the age of 89. She was born on Aug. 4, 1933, in Burkburnett, Texas, the daughter of Kenzy Savage and Esther (Dodson) Savage. She was preceded in death by her parents and sons: Phillip Tyree and Michael Tyree.
