A lawsuit was filed in federal court in Oklahoma challenging a state law regarding labeling alternative or fake meat products. During the 2020 Oklahoma Legislative Session, Representative Toni Hasenbeck and Senator Micheal Bergstrom authored HB 3806. This bill was a lead priority for the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) in the 2020 Legislative Session and, working with the Oklahoma Pork Council, the bill overwhelmingly passed through the House and Senate to the Governor’s desk to become state law.

HUGO — The Hugo Buffaloes claimed their second Black and Blue Bowl trophy in as many years Friday at Gene Nesbit Stadium in one for the record books… a 35-34 OT thriller. The Antlers Bearcats lived up to their pre-game billing, bringing the top-two rushing backs in 2A-6 onto Buff Parker Field as well as three of the top-10 tacklers in the district.
