IDABEL –– The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), working with the Idabel Police Department, arrested a 27-year-old woman who is accused of removing an unborn baby from a Texas woman’s body. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the victim, 21-year-old Reagan Simmons-Hancock, died as a result of the injuries she sustained. The baby is also deceased.

PAUL BELL FIELD — The Hugo Buffaloes squared off against a solid Eufaula Ironhead team Friday in Eufaula, and once again, the Buffaloes were not able to muster enough offense to overcome a balanced Ironhead offense and aggressive defense.

The seventh-ranked Rattan Rams baseball team began Regional play this past weekend against 12th-ranked Amber Pocasset. Keegan Robertson pitched six innings in relief, striking out five, walking two and allowing just one earned run off of eight hits.
