OKLAHOMA CITY –– GlobalHealth, an Oklahoma-based health insurer, is raising awareness about the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) so that Oklahomans can better assess their Medicare options. The AEP is the time for current Medicare beneficiaries to review and make changes to their Medicare coverage options. AEP begins Oct. 15 each year and ends on Dec. 7.

The holiday season is upon us. As you plan your scheduled visits and gift lists, do not forget our nursing home residents. It is a sad fact that 60% of nursing home residents never receive a visitor. During this holiday season you can lift spirits and bring a smile to a resident’s face, just by visiting for a short while. Due to COVID-19, call your local facility for their guidelines for visitation.

The Christmas in the Park events at Tvshka Homma will begin on Dec. 4. The events begin at 6 p.m. and close at 9 p.m. This season’s offering will continue until Jan. 3. On Fridays and Saturdays hot chocolate will be served.
