“Free and fair elections are at the heart of our democracy, and regardless of our political affiliation or who we voted for, it is absolutely essential that our elections are safe and secure and that we can be confident in the results — no matter who the winner is. The integrity of our system depends on it — now and in the future. My goal was never to put our constitutional system at risk, nor was it ever to overturn an election; it was to get the facts into the open and allow the truth to direct our steps. I am well aware that some in our state have said — along with the national media — that more than 50 court cases have already settled this election. The problem with that argument is that clearly they haven’t. Thousands of people still have questions.”

Beloved husband of Ruth Ann (Haaser) for 68 years and survived by his children: Linda Weaver (Jeff), Pam Brunk (Jamie), Tina Nelson (Steve), Brian Cooper (Annie), Randy Cooper (Lisa); 12 grandchildren: Jessica, Jill, Jaclyn, Tim, Oliva, Ryan, Aaron, Josh, Kelsey, Logan, Andrea, Kiefer; and six great-grandchildren: Cooper, Maggie, Annabelle, Ryanne, Taylee, Ella.

Gracie Ann Garcia, of Valliant, Okla., sunrise May 22, 1970 in Michoacon, Mexico; sunset, Dec. 31, 2020, at the age of 50. Gracie was the daughter of John Garcia and Anne (Guerro) Garcia. Gracie grew up in San Diego, Calif., and was the mother of six children: Maricella, Jose (Pepe), Vanessa, April, Melissa and Mark. She was employed for Walmart and worked there for many years. Gracie loved going to the beach and collecting seashells, she loved butterflies and dolphins. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, movies, reading, fishing and miniature golf. Gracie was very family oriented, she loved to listen to music and dance. She is preceded in death by her mother, Anne Garcia.
