Final phase of COVID-19 vaccine eligibility now open

• The state’s allocation of doses became available to all adult Oklahomans who want to receive the vaccine on March 29 OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) announced last week that all adult Oklahomans are now eligible to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment. Oklahoma has consistently ranked among the top states in vaccine distribution and is one of the first states to open vaccine appointments to the general public.

Delilah Wisener

Delilah Narcissus Wisener of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the age of 71. She was born Sept. 1, 1949 in Beaver, Okla., to Blackie and Ruby (Akridge) Williams. On Jan. 2, 1966 she married Larry Wisener. Together the couple worked side-by-side owning South Plains Lamesa Railroad. Delilah received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Lubbock Christian University in 1996. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
