OSBI called after body found in burning trailer

CHOCTAW COUNTY –– Choctaw County Sheriff’s Department requested OSBI assistance last week after a body was found in a burned trailer. According to reports, the trailer caught fire early Thursday morning, just north of Hugo.

Hugo News Sports LONE GROVE — The Hugo Buffaloes are one step closer to State after coming in second at the regional tournament over the weekend. Hugo beat Lone Grove, 48-37 on Thursday night to advance to the championship game before falling to Purcell, 56-47 in a hard fought battle that went down to the wire.

Hugo News Sports LONE GROVE — The Lady Buffaloes’ season came to an end Saturday afternoon after a 59-51 loss to Lone Grove in the regional tournament. The Buffs were feeling good heading into regionals after a District Championship, but they had a tough road ahead of them.
