Cole convicted of aggravated sexual abuse, abusive sexual contact of a child

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, announced that Brett Dewayne Cole, age 33, of Ringold, Okla., was found guilty by a federal jury of two counts of aggravated sexual abuse in Indian Country and one count of abusive sexual contact of a child in Indian Country. The jury trial began on Monday, March 6, 2023, and concluded on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

The Area Tournament might as well have been labeled the Buffs’ revenge tour, with Hugo facing off against Okmulgee, Silo and Purcell — all teams that handed the Buffaloes losses earlier in the season.
