Local World War II Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient, James “JB” Hamill celebrated his 100th birthday last week with a party celebration at Elmbrook, where he has been a resident for the past 13 years. His family and friends joined him for the celebration.

Clayton resident pleads guilty to federal drug and firearms crimes

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Troy Michael Goforth, age 49, of Clayton, Okla., entered a guilty plea on May 31, 2023, to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
