Body Junior Calista Kelley was one of Hugo’s most consistent and confident shooters last season, and her return to the team in the spring will give the Buffs a big boost. But until then, the Buffaloes need to develop more shooters.

Choctaw Cultural Center plans Christmas celebration

Body DURANT — Everyone is invited to “Celebrate a Choctaw Christmas!” at the Choctaw Cultural Center on Saturday, Dec. 9. The center, at 1919 Hina Hanta Way in Durant, will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. with a variety of holiday and traditional activities for the young of all ages.

Body Fort Towson Schools recently celebrated Red Ribbon Week. The Red Ribbon campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people during the month of October each year.

Body Funeral services for Arnold Tims, of Fort Towson, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 28, 2023 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Arnold passed away Nov. 22, 2023, at the age of 52. Arnold “Moshi” Keith Tims was born on April 5, 1971 in Idabel, Okla.
