OKLAHOMA CITY – A study on the economic impact of Oklahoma State Parks have on their communities met Monday before the Oklahoma House Appropriations & Budget Natural Resources Subcommittee. The study was organized by Rep. Tammy Townley, R-Ardmore.

There are scores of political pundits and observers who are of the belief that when public sentiment, the economy or other voter angst gets bad for a sitting president, it’s likely a war or other massive social event will break out.

Hugo Band Student of the week is Lexi Figueroa. She is a sophomore at Hugo High School and has been in band for four years. She plays the flute and piccolo. The thing Lexi enjoys most about band is it allows her to hang out with her people. Lexi is also a member of the Hugo High School Academic Team.
