WILBURTON –– Eastern Oklahoma State College hosted its Commencement Ceremonies on May 3. An estimated 220 students have earned their associate degree or certificate this year.

• Tracy Byrd and more GRANT –– Choctaw Casino & Resort – Grant has a stacked lineup of performers to keep the whole family entertained all summer long! Tracy Byrd Tracy Byrd is a country musician who’s been in the industry since 1992, landing chart-topping singles with “Holdin’ Heaven” and “Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo.” He’s released 10 albums and received the 1996 Song of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music for “The Keeper of the Stars.” Byrd will be in Grant on Friday, June 7 at 8 p.m. Grand Funk Railroad Grand Funk Railroad is a rock band that’s been around since 1969, gaining popularity with songs “We’re an American Band,” “The Loco-Motion” and others.

Celebrate 200 years at the Fort: Fort Towson Homecoming 2024 will be held Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8. On June 8, a community fun day will be held at Sawyer Community Center, with a light meal beginning at 5:30 p.m.
