Carbon monoxide poisoning likely cause of death of woman, child

On Jan. 23, 2025 at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Hugo Police Department received a call requesting officers to attempt to locate an overdue motorist. Richard Stevens was unable to contact his wife, Tamara Higgins and two minor children by phone.
