Choctaw Nation to recognize Missing, Murdered Indigenous Persons Awareness Day

DURANT –– Nationally, May 5 has been proclaimed “Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Awareness Day.” To help bring attention and assistance to missing and murdered indigenous women an outdoor gathering will be held Friday, May 5, noon-2 p.m. at the Choctaw Nation Headquarters Amphitheater, 1802 Chukka Hina in Durant.
