City of Hugo sets date for special election to fill council seat

HUGO –– A resolution was passed last week by the Hugo city council to call for a special election to fill the unoccupied council position.

The filing period for those interested in running for city council at-large will be Monday, Dec. 1 through Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The election will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10.
