Commissioners approve sales tax proposal election

HUGO — At a recent meeting of the Choctaw County Board of County Commissioners, the commissioners voted to set a county- wide election date on Feb.

9, 2027, for the purpose of approving or denying an additional one-cent county sales tax to be used specifically to pay judgements against the county in the following cases:
