Dangerous intersection claims two lives

GRANT –– A woman and child lost their lives last Thursday afternoon, after a collision with a Freightliner on U.S. Hwy. 271 in Grant, Okla. According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Rekia Johnson, 33 of Hugo, was eastbound on County Road 2120 when she failed to yield from a stop sign, pulling in front and being struck by a Freightliner, driven by John King, 35 of Hugo.
