Federal judge denies bail for alleged assassin
A federal judge has denied alleged assassin Ryan Routh’s request for bail, saying he is both a flight risk and a danger to the public.
U.S. Magistrate Ryon M. McCabe agreed with prosecutors’ request to hold Routh in custody, denying a $250,000 bond.
Prosecutors said the DOJ would be presenting their evidence to a grand jury and seeking attempted assassination charges and a life in prison sentence.
