Reba Faye Nelson

Funeral services for Reba Faye Nelson, of Hugo, Okla., were held March 30, 2026 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home. Reba passed away March 24, 2026, at the age of 56.

Reba Faye Nelson was born on Jan. 21, 1970 in Ephrata, Wash., the daughter of Johnny Earl Nelson, Sr. and Karen (Simpson) Nelson. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Earl Nelson, Sr.; both sets of grandparents; almost all of her aunts and uncles; a greatniece and a brother-in-law.

Reba was raised in Hugo, but she lived in various places across the country throughout her life. She had a creative soul and found joy in the intricate art of crochet. Reba also had a passion for rock collecting and enjoyed a good puzzle. She had a fun sense of humor and liked to joke around, and she loved Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Reba loved to tell stories, visit with family and friends. Above all else, Reba loved her family.

Reba is survived by her sons: Daniel Nelson and wife, Billy Kelley, Jr. and soon to be wife, Robert Kelley and wife and Calvin Kelley and wife; nine grandchildren; mother, Karen Nelson; brother, Johnny Nelson, Jr. and wife; sisters: Iantha Heady and Sheila Nelson; six nephews; four nieces.

Interment followed at Goodland Cemetery with Bro. Danny Mills officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
