Kenneth (Kenny) Dannie West II

A memorial service for Kenneth (Kenny) Dannie West II, of Hugo, Okla., was held Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Compassion of Christ Church in Hugo. Kenneth passed away June 23, 2026, at the age of 58.

Kenneth (Kenny) Dannie West II was born on Aug. 24, 1967 to the late Kenneth Dannie and Fayetta Glenn West in Hugo, where he lived out the majority of his life.

He was known for his outgoing spirit and servant heart, always seeking to meet the needs of others before himself. He knew the riches of knowing Jesus and would eagerly share Him with anyone. While he endured much suffering throughout life, he also knew the comfort of the Word of God and the strength of the Holy Spirit within Him. He loved his family deeply and took great pride in where he came from, including his Choctaw lineage. He worked as a welder for many years, but he really loved to worship, dance, fish, and spend time at the lake or in the mountains. He is father to two sons: Kaleb and wife, and Taylor. He is Papa to seven grandchildren. He is survived by siblings: Henry, Alicia, Avery, Josh, Natasha, Shannon and Brandy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Dannie West and Fayetta Glenn West; and brother, Kelly West. Services were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
