Cathy Jane (Wilhite) Spalton

Memorial services for Cathy Jane (Wilhite) Spalton were held July 31, 2025 at Old Church Cemetery in Bennington, Okla.

Cathy Jane (Wilhite) Spalton, 72, went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2025, passing at her home in Indio, Calif., surrounded by her loving family.

Cathy was born on Sept. 16, 1952 in Brawley, Calif.,, the daughter of Leslie Lee Wilhite and Leona Marie (Caton) Wilhite. She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Lee; and her brothers: Paul Wilhite and David Wilhite.

Cathy grew up in California and graduated from Brawley High School in 1970. She married her beloved husband, Roger Spalton, at the Assembly of God Church in Brawley.

Together they built a life of love and devotion to their family. Cathy was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and an adoring grandmother. Her legacy is one of unconditional love and it will continue to inspire and guide her family, loved ones and all who knew her.

Cathy is survived by her loving family; mother, Marie Wilhite; husband, Roger Spalton; children: Randell Spalton, Ricky Spalton, Christine Ladd and Charlene Camerna, all of Indio, Calif.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Steve Wilhite of Bremerton, Wash.; sisters: Belinda Aguiar of Simi Valley, Calif., Jenise Stimmel of Marlin, Texas, and Patty Faucher of Mims, Fla.; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and loved ones.

Bro. Rick Austin officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
