Ronald Douglas West

Ronald Douglas West, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sept. 20, 2025, at the age of 83.

Born on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 1941, Ronald was the son of Edna (Wyric) and Fred West and was also deeply loved and raised by his stepfather, William Wyric.

Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Navy, carrying with him a spirit of loyalty, resilience, and dedication. Beyond his service, he was best known for his unwavering love for his family, his famously good hair, and his ability to balance stubbornness with deep kindness.

He is survived by his children: Stephanie West, Jason West, Alexis West and Steve Massey, as well as many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To his family, he was not only a steady presence but also a source of laughter, wisdom, and unconditional love.

Ronald will be remembered for his strength, his humor, and the way he cared so deeply for those around him.
