Private memorial services for Bob Caldwell, of Boswell, Okla., will be held at a later date.

Bob Caldwell passed from this life on Jan. 27, 2024, at his residence in Boswell, Okla., surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 75.

Bob Caldwell was born on Jan. 11, 1949, in Bokchito, Okla., the son of Boyd Oscar Caldwell and Nelma (Walls) Caldwell. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Armor; sister-in-law, Carolyn Caldwell; brother-in-law, Don Wilson; and niece, Tamra Caldwell.

Bob was a life-long resident of the Boswell area and is where he married his wife, Kay “Sis” (Johnson) Caldwell, on Sept. 6, 1968. They built a life for themselves in the small town, raising their sons and ranching.

Bob spent a lifetime working on his place and loved to spend time there. In his younger years, Bob enjoyed roping, fishing and hunting at their deer camp by the river. However, Bob’s greatest joy in life truly was his family. He loved spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sis Caldwell; sons: Jim Ed Caldwell and wife, LeeAnn and Joe Bob Caldwell and wife, Amye, all of Boswell; grandchildren: Erin Caldwell, Rance Caldwell and Jordan Caldwell; sister, Deana Caldwell of Grant, Okla.; brother, Jackie Caldwell of Hugo, and brother-in-law, Kenneth Armor and wife, Sharon of Hugo, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Services are under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
