Graveside services for Bobby Ray Bell, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Dec. 30, 2023 at Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo. Bobby passed away Dec. 27, 2023, at the age of 91.

Bobby Ray Bell was born on Feb. 26, 1932, the son of John W. Bell and Cora Emma (Comb) Bell. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Francis Leona “Delia” Bell; brothers: Cecil Bell, Walter Bell and William Bell; sisters: Oneida Bell, Bessi Pruitt, Dorothy Davis and Thelma Bell.

Bobby lived his entire life in the Hugo community. He married the love of his life, Delia Bell, on Feb. 25, 1956 in Hugo. They lived a wonderful life together with their son. Bobby worked as a boiler maker for Babcock & Wilcox in the Paris, Texas, plant until 1995. He also worked at the Wells Lamont glove factory in Hugo. Bobby was a proud Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. He enjoyed playing bingo, dominos and playing at Choctaw. Bobby also liked watching westerns and was a dog lover. But, most of all he loved spending time with his family, and he will be missed greatly by them.

Bobby is survived by his son, Keith Bell and wife of Hugo; two grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

W.F. Grammar officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
