Delilah Narcissus Wisener of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the age of 71. She was born Sept. 1, 1949 in Beaver, Okla., to Blackie and Ruby (Akridge) Williams. On Jan. 2, 1966 she married Larry Wisener. Together the couple worked side-by-side owning South Plains Lamesa Railroad. Delilah received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Lubbock Christian University in 1996. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Shawna Garrett and husband, Kent, Shad Wisener and wife, Shelley, and Shalia Declerk and husband, Doug, all of Lubbock; siblings: Barbara Wright and husband, Vic of Forgan, Okla., and Jim Williams of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother-in-law, Keith Wisener and wife, Beverly; nine grandchildren: Narcissus Roy (Josh), Shelden Wisener, Larian Garrett, Bo Garrett (Krysta), Jaci Garrett, Shayne Wisener, Allison Garrett, Abigail Garrett-Stevens (Jack), and Jacklyn Declerk; and five great-grandchildren: Jayden, Jorden, Jeremiah, Cyrus and Karder. Delilah also leaves behind a special cousin, Steve Wisener (Rebecca) and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Delilah was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry in 2017.

Graveside services were scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Memorial donations can be made to Kindred Hospice, Children’s Home of Lubbock or the Salvation Army.
