Dolores Joyce Chambers

Funeral services for Dolores Joyce Chambers, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Aug. 18, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hugo. Dolores passed away Aug. 13, 2020, at the age of 79.

Dolores Joyce (Liescheski) Chambers was born on June 15, 1941 in Brenham, Texas, to Phillip Liescheski and Janie (Konieczny) Liescheski. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and brothers: Julius Liescheski, Theodore Liescheski, Leonard Liescheski, Phillip Liescheski, Jr .and sisters: Marie Cognac and Lucille Rodriquez.

Dolores married Clyde Chambers in Houston, Texas, on Dec. 30, 1971. Clyde preceded Dolores in death after 47 years of marriage.

Dolores enjoyed gardening and canning. She loved nature and especially loved watching birds. Dolores loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church, worshiping and praising Him. She fervently and constantly prayed for her family. Her love and prayers will be missed by her beloved family and friends.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Claudia Chambers-Beach and husband, Bill of Caney, Okla.; brothers: Henry Liescheski of Alvin, Texas, James Liescheski of Sugarland, Texas, Daniel Liescheski of Prairieland Texas; grandchildren: Sierra Haney and Kaitlyn Beach; great-grandson, Gabriel Kovash, along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.

A Rosary was held Monday, Aug. 17, 2020 at 6 p.m. at Miller and Miller Funeral Home in Hugo.

Interment followed the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Father Todd Nance officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
