Earl C. Robertson

Earl Chad Robertson of Boswell, Okla., passed from this life on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at the age of 58. Chad was the beloved son of Sterling Richard Robertson and Joyce Evelyn (Jones) Robertson, born Oct. 4, 1967 in Durant, Okla.

A life-long resident of the Boswell area, Chad graduated Boswell High School, and chose to make his home there near family.

A man of uncomplicated character, Chad didn’t require much to be content. Described as loyal and maybe a little ornery, he was his own man, with a determined individuality. Chad was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #49, working in horizontal drilling for PMP Directional.

Outside of work, Chad enjoyed the outdoors by hunting, fishing, and especially growing a large vegetable garden every year. Survivors include: his mother, Joyce Robertson of Boswell; and his brother, Sterling Edward Robertson, also of Boswell. Chad was a great-uncle to two and grandfather to one. Chad was preceded in death by his father, Sterling Richard Robertson in 2010, and by his grandparents. Chad was laid to rest at a graveside service on Monday, July 20, 2026 at the Restland Cemetery Pavilion in Boswell, under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
