Eva Lee Heady, 92, of Hugo, Okla., passed away on Sept. 25, 2020 at Choctaw Memorial Hospital in Hugo. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020 in the First Assembly of God Church with Keithen Brown officiating. Burial took place at Goodland Cemetery.

Eva was born on Dec. 25, 1927 to Francis and Canzada Pugh Revis in Muse, Okla. She married Clyde (Heady) on July 14, 1942, in Antlers, Okla. Eva was truly devoted to family and the care of multiple generations; this is true Bibilical legacy. Her tough and tender ways will forever be remembered and cherished. She worked diligently at the Hugo Nutrition Center for many years. Eva could be found in constant fellowship with her church family singing great music. We rise up and call her most blessed and favoured among women.

She is survived by 11 children: Floyd of Rattan, Okla., Clifford of Sawyer, Okla., Leonard of Antlers, Okla., Kenneth of Fouke, Ark., Edith of Hugo, Ercell of Grant, Okla., Alma of Rattan, Linda of Hugo, Alice of Grant, Lily of Mill Creek, Okla., and Janith of Grant; 45 grandchildren, numerous great-granchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hobert Heady; five children: Earl, Margie, James Lee Heady, David Heady, and Gertie Mae Heady; her parents; and five siblings: Thomas, Hester, Myrtle Lee, Violia and Bertha.

Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 2020 at the First Assembly of God, 1176 US Highway 271, Hugo, under the direction of Mt. Olive Funeral Home.
