Glenda “Gome” Mae Roberts-Singleton

Funeral services for Glenda “Gome” Mae Roberts- Singleton, of Boswell, Okla., were held at 10 a.m.

Dec. 30, 2024 at Good Spring Presbyterian Church. Glenda passed away Dec. 26, 2024, at the age of 67.

Glenda Mae “Gome” Roberts-Singleton was born on Oct. 17, 1957 in Talihina, Okla., the daughter of Gerald Eugene Roberts and Edna Mae Phillips Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Glenda was a lifelong resident of the Boswell area and never met a stranger. She loved visiting with friends and family and was always there to lend a helping hand whenever she was able. Glenda loved animals, old western movies and was an avid soap opera fan. She loved watching her grandkids play ball and never missed a game. Glenda loved to talk and there was never a dull moment when she was around. Her family would tell you she ran on “Indian Time” and was always on her phone playing Candy Crush. Glenda will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Glenda is survived by her sons: Chris Roberts and wife of Bennington, Okla., Dustin Singleton and wife of Van Alstyne, Texas, and Chad Ensey of Boswell; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters: Joyce Tran of Sawyer, Okla., and Geraldine Pierce of Bennington, Okla., along with nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Roberts Family Cemetery in Boswell with Marcus Bob officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
