Inga Ingrid Sigrid (Koppe) Cooper
Inga Ingrid Sigrid (Koppe) Cooper, 76 of Antlers, Okla., was born on March 30, 1949, in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of Paul Koppe and Herta (Piske) Koppe. She passed away Dec. 6, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Bodo Koppe and Ingo Koppe and sister, Sigrid Blaskoeitz Inga came to the United State as a student and thrived in the field of nursing. She became a Registered Nurse and worked many years in Texas and California. Her career was marked by an unwavering commitment to her patients, to whom she provided not only medical care but also comfort and support. Inga later met her loving husband, Terry Cooper in 1990 and they were married in Hugo, Okla., in 1992. They spent 33 loving years together and made their home in Antlers following Inga’s retirement from nursing.
Inga’s caring nature extended beyond the walls of hospitals and clinics. Her love for animals was a joy that she embraced wholeheartedly, and she was often found tending to the needs of stray pets, some which she would welcome into her home. Inga is survived by her loving family: husband, Terry Cooper; sister, Ingrid Koppe; a nephew; a niece, along with their children, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews; step-children: Brad Cooper, Lyn Mcdade and husband, Leah Cox and husband; three step-grandchildren, along with a host of other family and friends.
