Janie Oney

Graveside services for Janie Oney, of Valliant, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020 at Valliant Cemetery. Janie passed away Sept. 26, 2020, at the age of 65.

Janie Lynn Oney was born Aug. 14, 1955 in Hugo, Okla., the daughter of James Davis and Ruth (Blythe) Davis. Janie married Floyd “Buddy” Oney, Jr. in Texarkana, Ark., in 1978. Janie loved OU Sooners, babysitting grandkids and other kids in the community. She loved working in her yard and cooking. She is preceded in death by her husband, Buddy; parents, James and Ruth Davis; sister, Jan Collins and two brothers: Jamie Davis and Jon Davis.

Janie is survived by her son, Todd Oney of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughters: Tiffanie Oney of Hugo and Tessa Oney of Valliant; six grandchildren; sister, Joye Hylton of Waxahachie, Texas, along with many loved family and friends.

Services were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
